Radiation pathology

Radiation pathology Photo
Radiation pathology deals with the examination of changes in tissues due to their exposure to ionizing radiations. Radiation plays an important part in the multidisciplinary management of head and neck cancer and is associated with acute and late effects in the irradiated tissues, which in turn affect the quality of life. The ability to predict and identify normal tissue responses may pave the way towards the appropriate and timely management of these sequelae.
